SOLO CIRCUS is a fast-paced, variety show for all ages featuring amazing magic, juggling, circus/sideshow stunts and audience interaction, all wrapped up in a cozy blanket of comedy.
 
Rochester native Michael DuBois’ appearances on Jay Leno and David Letterman catapulted him to international recognition, and he has since performed his unique SOLO CIRCUS at over 500 colleges, cruise ships, theaters and resorts all over the world.
 
Special guest Viktoria Grimmy is a fifth-generation circus performer and aerialist who created and performed circus acts for the Tony-award winning Broadway production of PIPPIN and has performed with the Big Apple Circus, Ringling Brothers Circus, Britney Spears Circus Tour, and in the film Burlesque.

Aladdin

Ideal for all ages!

Back by popular demand for the ninth year: The Missoula Children’s Theatre Experience!
 
Kids can enjoy each show in two ways: by watching it—or starring in it! Once again, TYKEs presents an incredible concept in children’s theatre—a full-scale musical with sets, costumes, make-up and props, starring up to 64 local kids—all created within a week! Budding thespians, ages 5 and up, rehearse Monday through Friday and perform the show that Saturday. Missoula Children’s Theatre has been touring all over the world for 40 years and comes to town with everything needed to put on a play—except the cast. Children spend the week learning lines, songs and choreography for this full-length musical.
 
Aladdin rehearsals are February 16 to 20 from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Performances February 21 at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
 
Rapunzel rehearsals are February 23 to 27 from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Performances February 28 at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
 
The cost is $175 ($160 for JCC members) per week and includes one free show ticket. No auditions necessary.
 
The JCC will provide Aladdin actors a special “vacation camp” from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. for an additional fee. Fun activities include arts and crafts, swimming, theater games, sports and more. Optional before-camp care from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. is also available.
 
Important note: Registration IS NOT YET OPEN! We will begin accepting registrations for participants on Thursday, September 11th at 10 a.m. To register (beginning on the 11th), simply email our TYKEs administrative assistant Marc Cataldi at MCataldi@jccrochester.org. Please specify your show preference (Aladdin or Rapunzel), your child's name and date of birth.
